We have entered an at-home race for the second time, this one a new one to BKC, the Falmouth - Falmouth. It was extremely flat and a sprint was expected, but team dynamics would have to be changed on account of the cobbles and high technicality of the route.
The race did end in a sprint as predicted, with Jacob Baker (NED) winning ahead of de Raeijmaeker (BEL) and Geitz (NED).
Our captain Holoubek (CZE) had a fairly good day in the saddle, mainly assisted by Berggård (SWE). They placed 7th and 13th respectively, with Holoubek adding two more points to total us at 122.
Our next race will be the Shaki ITT in Azerbaijan. It is a flat route and fairly technical. Max Barting (GER) will be contending in his first non-practice time trial for BKC. Our captain will be Holoubek, but we are hoping for Viktor Huseby (NOR) or Otavo Fráde (POR) to make a good attack on the leaders as well.
